Corridoor: paid expert work from anywhere

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use corridoor.org or any Corridoor service. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Corridoor. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

2. What Corridoor is, and is not

Corridoor helps people choose, join and succeed on AI training and data-labelling platforms. We provide a platform directory with reliability data, a member-reported feed of live projects, a scout programme and, if you choose it, personal help from our engineers.

We are not an employer, staffing agency or platform. You never work for Corridoor through these services. Each platform is an independent company that decides who it accepts, what work it offers and what it pays, and it pays you directly.

3. Who can use Corridoor

You must be 18 or older.
The information you give us — including your country, skills and experience — must be true.
You may have one account, for yourself only.

4. Free services

The directory, the live project feed, saved projects and the scout programme are free. There is no joining fee, training fee, deposit, subscription or equipment charge, now or later. Nobody acting for Corridoor may ask you for money up front. If anyone does, please report it to us.

Guided support is optional. If you choose it, a person helps you get approved and through your first paid work on specific platforms. In return you pay us a share of what you earn on those platforms, for a limited time. This is the only way Corridoor ever charges a member.

Levels

Setup review: you keep 85% and the support share is 15%.
Guided start: you keep 80% and the support share is 20%.
Intensive: you keep 70% and the support share is 30%.

Rules that always apply

Only on platforms we set you up on. If you joined a platform on your own, or found it through the free directory or feed, no share applies to it. Ever.
Only for 90 days. The share applies for 90 days from your first paid task on that platform. After that, everything you earn there is yours.
Capped at $150 a month. However much you earn, the support share in any calendar month is never more than $150. High earners are not penalised for doing well.
Settled after you are paid. Platforms pay you directly. We invoice the agreed share at the end of the month, based on the earnings statement you share with us. We never touch your account or your money.
Agreed in writing, before you start. Your level, percentage, period and cap are in a one-page agreement you sign before any guided work begins. You can downgrade or stop at any time.
Nothing up front. No joining fee, training fee, deposit or equipment charge. If you never earn, you never owe anything.

Period, cap and settlement

The support period for each platform is 90 days from your first paid task on that platform. The support share in any calendar month is never more than $150 in total, whatever you earn. At the end of each month in the support period you share your earnings statement for the platforms concerned, and we send an invoice for the agreed share. Payment is due within the time stated on the invoice and in your agreement.

Stopping or changing level

You can move to a lower level or stop guided support at any time by telling your coach or emailing support@corridoor.org. The share stops, or falls to the lower level, from that date. Amounts for earnings before that date remain payable.

6. Referral fees

Some platforms run public referral programmes that pay the referrer when a new contributor signs up and completes work. When you use a Corridoor link for one of those platforms, the platform may pay us that bonus.

It never comes out of your pay. The platform pays it on top.
Every platform with an arrangement is labelled 'Referral' in the directory and on its page.
Referral arrangements have no effect on rankings or reliability scores.
You can always sign up directly instead. Each platform page links to the official site without a referral code.

7. The scout programme

Any member can report projects they can see on their own platform account. Reports that pass verification earn bonuses at the amounts shown on the Scouts page. 12% of Corridoor's revenue funds the scout bonus pool. Bonus amounts are proposed and may change; any change applies only to reports made after we announce it.

Report only what you can see on your own account. Screenshots must be yours.
Crop or blur your name, email and worker ID. We also strip them before anything is shown.
Never share confidential project materials, task content or guidelines. Name, pay, eligibility and how to access it is enough.
Tier multipliers (×1.25 Senior, ×1.5 Lead) apply to report and bonus lines, not to confirmations or status updates.
Mistakes made in good faith cost nothing. Deliberately false reports lead to removal from the programme after one warning.
Bonuses are paid monthly by Wise, PayPal or Payoneer once your balance reaches $10.

Scout bonuses are payments for information you provide. You are responsible for any tax due on them where you live.

8. Your responsibilities

Follow the rules of every platform you join, including their confidentiality rules.
Never share, sell, rent or lend a platform account, and never let anyone else work on yours.
Never use AI tools to produce work where a project forbids it.
Never use a VPN or any other means to misrepresent your location or identity.
Never send us confidential task content, platform guidelines or other people's personal information.
Do not misuse the site: no scraping at scale, spam, false reports or attempts to manipulate scores.

We will not help anyone break a platform's rules, and we may remove members who do.

9. No guaranteed approval or earnings

Platforms decide who they approve and how much work they offer, and both change often. We do not guarantee that you will be approved, that work will be available, or that you will earn any particular amount. Pay figures on the site are ranges reported by members or published by platforms, not promises.

10. Third-party platforms

Platforms are separate services with their own terms, payment rules and account decisions. We are not responsible for their decisions, including rejections, pay changes, account removals or late payments. Links to platforms take you to their own sites.

11. Information on the site

Reliability scores, project reports and other figures come from member reports and our own records. We work hard to keep them accurate, but they can be out of date or wrong, and you should check important details on the platform itself. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

12. Stopping and removal

You can stop using Corridoor and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, gives false information or puts other members or platforms at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why. Support-share amounts already owed for earnings before the end date remain payable, and scout bonuses already earned for verified reports will still be paid, unless removal was for deliberately false reports.

13. Liability

We provide guidance and information in good faith. To the extent the law allows, Corridoor is not liable for losses that come from platform decisions or from relying on information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the effective date and, for any change to how the support share works, email members on guided support before it applies. A change never applies to a support period that has already started unless it is better for you.
