01How we make money

How Corridoor makes money

Two sources, and only two: a support share from members who choose hands-on help, and disclosed referral fees that some platforms pay us. No subscriptions, no upfront fees, no paid placement, and we never sell data.

Source 1

Support share

Only if you choose guided help. You keep 70–85% of what you earn on platforms we set you up on, for 90 days, capped at $150 a month.

  • Setup reviewyou keep 85%
  • Guided startyou keep 80%
  • Intensiveyou keep 70%
How it works in detail

Source 2

Disclosed referral fees

Some platforms run public referral programmes that pay the referrer when a new contributor signs up and completes work. When you use a Corridoor link for one of those platforms, the platform may pay us that bonus.

Paid by the platform, on top. It never comes out of your pay, and it has zero weight in any ranking or score.

02The support share

The support share, in plain language

When a person from Corridoor helps you get approved and through your first paid work on a platform, you share part of what you earn there, for a limited time. That is the whole arrangement. Here is exactly when it applies and when it never does.

It applies only when all of these are true

  • You chose guided support and signed the one-page agreement.
  • We actively set you up on that specific platform.
  • You are inside the 90 days that start with your first paid task there.

It never applies to

  • Platforms you joined on your own, before or after meeting us.
  • Platforms you found in the free directory or feed without guided help.
  • Anything you earn after the 90-day period ends.
  • Scout bonuses, or any month in which you earned nothing.
  • The free Member plan — it has no share at all.
Who pays whom
  1. Step 1: The platformpays 100% of your earnings
  2. Step 2: Your own accountPayPal, Payoneer, Wise or bank — only you can access it
  3. Step 3: Month endyou share your earnings statement; we send an invoice
  4. Step 4: You pay Corridoorthe agreed share, never more than $150

Your pay never passes through Corridoor. We never hold your platform password or have access to your payout account.

Only on platforms we set you up on
If you joined a platform on your own, or found it through the free directory or feed, no share applies to it. Ever.
Only for 90 days
The share applies for 90 days from your first paid task on that platform. After that, everything you earn there is yours.
Capped at $150 a month
However much you earn, the support share in any calendar month is never more than $150. High earners are not penalised for doing well.
Settled after you are paid
Platforms pay you directly. We invoice the agreed share at the end of the month, based on the earnings statement you share with us. We never touch your account or your money.
Agreed in writing, before you start
Your level, percentage, period and cap are in a one-page agreement you sign before any guided work begins. You can downgrade or stop at any time.
Nothing up front
No joining fee, training fee, deposit or equipment charge. If you never earn, you never owe anything.
How to stop
Tell your coach or email support@corridoor.org. The share stops from that date. You can also move to a lower level at any time, which lowers the share from that date.

03Referral fees

Referral fees, disclosed platform by platform

Some platforms run public referral programmes that pay the referrer when a new contributor signs up and completes work. When you use a Corridoor link for one of those platforms, the platform may pay us that bonus.

Platforms with an arrangement (4 of 14)

The other 10 platforms in the directory pay us nothing.

The rules we follow

  1. 1It never comes out of your pay. The platform pays it on top.
  2. 2Every platform with an arrangement is labelled 'Referral disclosed' in the directory and on its page.
  3. 3Referral arrangements have zero weight in rankings, match scores or reliability scores. The formulas are published below and contain no commercial inputs.
  4. 4You can always sign up directly instead. Each platform page links to the official site without a referral code.

The match score and the reliability score have no commercial inputs. Neither formula knows whether a platform pays us. You can check the reliability formula in full in the next section.

04Reliability methodology

How the reliability score is calculated

Every platform gets a score from 0 to 100, built from four things members report. The scores in the directory are computed from this exact formula when the site is built — nobody types them in — so the published method and the displayed numbers cannot drift apart.

  • Payment speed

    35%
    Measures
Median days from submitting work to money arriving in the member's own account
    Becomes a score
100 at 2 days or less, minus 2.2 points per extra day
  • Task availability

    30%
    Measures
Share of weeks in the last 90 days where approved members reported paid work available
    Becomes a score
    Used directly (0–100)
  • Fair reviews

    20%
    Measures
Share of submitted tasks members report as rejected or unpaid
    Becomes a score
100 minus 3 points per percentage point rejected
  • Support response

    15%
    Measures
Median hours to a first human reply from platform support
    Becomes a score
100 at 24 hours or less, minus 0.5 points per extra hour

score = round( 0.35 × payment speed + 0.30 × task availability + 0.20 × fair reviews + 0.15 × support response )

Provisional = fewer than 75 member reports. The score is still calculated the same way, but a few reports can move it a lot.

Where the data comes from, and how we protect it from manipulation

Who can report
Only members with an approved account on that platform. Figures come from members' own dashboards and payout statements, not from the platforms' marketing.
One voice per member
One reliability report per member, per platform, per month. A new report from the same member replaces their earlier one for that month.
Evidence, not opinion
Payment-speed and rejection figures must match a shared earnings statement or dashboard screenshot. Reports that do not match are excluded, not averaged in.
Outliers
Payment speed and support response use medians, so a handful of extreme reports cannot drag a score far. Reports far outside the normal range are checked by a person before they count.
Brigading
A sudden burst of reports about one platform — for example from many new accounts in a short time — is held back for manual review and only counted once checked.
Platforms have no say
Platforms cannot submit, edit or remove member reports, and cannot pay for a better score. They can send us corrections with evidence, like anyone else.

05Project verification

How a project report becomes “Verified”

Projects in the live feed are reported by members and checked by other members and by our team. Every project shows where it is in this process, so you always know how much to trust it.

  1. 1

    A scout reports it

A member submits the project name, platform, pay, eligibility and a screenshot from their own dashboard. It appears in the feed immediately, marked Unverified.

  2. 2

    Other members confirm it

Members who can see the same project confirm it with their own screenshot. One confirmation moves it to Confirming.

  3. 3

    The team checks it

A Corridoor reviewer compares the screenshots, checks the pay and eligibility against them, and removes anything that identifies the reporter. With three or more independent confirmations it becomes Verified. Median time: about six hours.

  4. 4

It is re-checked while it lives

Members flag when pay changes or a queue empties. Projects with no fresh confirmation in 7 days are marked Slowing; closed projects stay visible for 7 days, then drop out.

The three statuses

  • Unverified

Newly reported by a single scout. Treat as a lead, not a fact.

  • Confirming

Reported and at least one other member has confirmed it. Team review in progress.

  • Verified

Confirmed by 3+ independent members with screenshots reviewed by the Corridoor team.

What we remove before anything is published

  • Names, emails, worker IDs and profile photos in screenshots
  • Task content, prompts, guidelines and anything marked confidential
  • Customer or client names the platform has not made public
  • Invite links and referral codes tied to a person

We publish only a project's visible name, platform, pay, eligibility and how to reach it. That is enough to decide whether to look for it, and it keeps members inside their platforms' confidentiality rules.

07Member principles

Member success principles

How we decide what to recommend, and what we will say no to — even when saying yes would earn us more.

  • 01

We will tell you when we can't help

If no platform fits your country, skills or equipment right now, we say so plainly instead of signing you up for something that will reject you.

  • 02

    Several platforms, not one

Work on any single platform can stop overnight. We plan for two or three platforms that suit you, so one pause does not end your income.

  • 03

    Quality over volume

A few careful tasks keep doors open; many rushed ones close them. Our coaching is about quality scores first and hours second.

  • 04

    Follow every platform rule

No account sharing, no AI tools where a project forbids them, no copying guidelines. We would rather lose a member than help them break a rule.

  • 05

    Your real location, always

No VPNs and no misrepresenting where you live or who you are. It is the fastest way to lose an account and unpaid earnings, and we will not help with it.

  • 06

    Your data is yours

We use your profile to match you and share it with a platform only when you ask us to help you apply there. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Things we never do

  • Charge upfront fees

No joining, training or placement fee, now or later.

  • Hold or route your earnings

Platforms pay you directly. We never have access to your platform or payout accounts.

  • Sell or rent your data

Your profile is used to match you, and shared with a platform only when you ask us to help you apply.

  • Accept paid placement

No platform can pay to rank higher, appear in more matches or get a better score.

  • Run or share accounts

We never operate an account on your behalf or ask for your password. Account sharing breaks every platform's rules.

  • Promise earnings or approval

Platforms decide who they accept and how much work exists. We will tell you honestly what is realistic.

08No hidden terms

No hidden terms

This is the complete list of everything on Corridoor that could ever cost a member money.

1 of 1

The support share

Only with guided support you chose and signed for. You keep 70–85% of earnings on platforms we set you up on, for 90 days from your first paid task there, and never pay more than $150 in a calendar month. Nothing up front.

Everything else — the directory, matching, the live feed, guides and the scout programme — is free and has no conditions attached.

These are our proposed terms. They are under legal review and will be confirmed in the written agreement you sign before any guided work starts. The signed agreement is what binds us both.
